Detroit Speed’s Speed Kit 3 takes everything you love about Speed Kit 2 and pushes it further with the addition of our premium Delrin bushing and shackle kit. This upgrade sharpens rear-end control, eliminates bushing deflection, and delivers a more connected, performance feel. For S10 owners who want the best possible leaf spring setup without fabrication, this is it.
This kit gives you up to 5” of rear drop without cutting into the frame—thanks to the combination of reverse-eye leaf springs and 2” lowering blocks. The spring design brings built-in drop while preserving suspension travel and ride quality. The lowering blocks feature 3 degrees of built-in angle to dial in pinion angle and keep driveline geometry in check. Add in optimized shock angles from the included upper mounts, and you get an aggressive stance with street-ready performance.
Built for real-world performance, this system uses forward bias leaf springs and staggered shocks to minimize wheel hop and axle wrap under load. The front spring mount is optimized for improved anti-squat characteristics, giving you more control over how the truck plants power to the ground—especially when launching or cornering.
The included Delrin bushing and shackle kit replaces factory-style rubber or poly with precision-machined components that reduce compliance and improve feedback. The Delrin material eliminates side-to-side flex and unwanted movement, giving you tighter, more predictable suspension behavior through corners, launches, and transitions.
This kit includes Stocker Star double adjustable shocks, giving you 18 clicks of adjustment for both compression and rebound. Whether you’re cruising or carving corners, you can dial in the ride feel that fits your build.
Like all Detroit Speed kits, this one’s engineered as a complete package. Leaf springs, mounts, and shocks are designed to work together to give you better balance, predictability, and performance - especially when paired with a front Speed Kit.
This is a bolt-in system that installs in factory locations. Minor cutting and drilling may be required, but no fabrication is needed -saving time, cost, and complexity.
Detroit Speed kits are proudly designed, tested, and built in Mooresville, North Carolina.
