The 1988-1998 Chevy trucks are no longer a well kept secret; they are well designed and look great no matter how you decide to build it.
The trucks have a lot of things going for it when it comes to cooling options. For starters, you can fit just about any motor and accessory drive, including the Vintage Air and March serpentine systems, without having to get creative with making it all fit.
Regardless if your truck was originally powered by a 6 cylinder, small block or big block, this radiator will drop right in.
To keep your truck running extra cool with style, this radiator uses Entropy's 11" HPX fans. Completely engineered by Entropy with a die formed aluminum housing, these fans were specially engineered to deal with modern day problems: lots of horsepower, tight clearances, air conditioning and the need for killer styling.
They pull over 1500 CFM each and look KILLER doing it. CFM alone isn't the whole story; these fans were designed to keep the CFM from falling off when having to pull through thick cores and A/C condensers at the same time.
Many electric fans are living 30 years in the past and can't handle the horsepower and A/C requirements of today. These fans will bring your ride into the modern day.
To make everything fit with your Chevy and billet accessory drive, Entropy specially configures the fans to clear the trouble spots that cause interference problems on big blocks. Typically the power steering pump and the A/C compressor with serpentine systems.
For higher horsepower applications, use our 1000 horsepower capable radiator, part number 9161-BADASS.
Features:
Like all of our radiators, it's made in the USA. We guarantee you'll think it's sexy and guarantee it to cool your car with ease. And of course our lifetime warranty on everything: radiator and fans.
For fan control, use our RH-02 Wiring Harness. It allows you to run the fans at both and a low speed versus just an ON/OFF setting.
The RH-02 Wiring Harness is also great for v-belt cars with lower powered alternators. It will make sure your alternator isn't hammered hard when the high powered fans go to work to cool your engine down.
Note:
There are two different radiators used in these trucks, that look very similar, yet are very different. This radiator is the narrower radiator with a 28-1/4" wide core and a 34" overall width.
Entropy radiators carry a typical lead time of six-eight weeks from the order date.
