Switch Suspension Hood Hinges - 67-72 C10

Switch themselves are terrible to deal with. Called on a Monday to confirm that these would ship out within the next day or two so that I would hopefully have them by the weekend. Tracking says arriving Friday. My $450 order is a bag of four push to connect fittings. They said oops we do this a lot. We'll just send you your correct order, wait another week. No thanks refund me. So then I buy them from these guys, because I don't wanna do direct business with switch. Still should not have bought them. The locknuts in the brackets, half of them just spun and had to be welded in place. They can't be bothered to give you a template so you have to make your own. And the instructions are just written. Wow it's a good design and a heavy duty kit... The company and the manufacturing process need major overhaul

I ordered these hinges which Pro Performance had in stock and they were at my door in 3 days! Sure beats ordering direct from Switch which would be a 4 week lead time. As for the hinges, they are very nice quality and function well. The struts are strong and lift the hood with ease. I would definitely recommend watching the video first because the directions do not include any photos. I accidentally put the front bracket on upside down and didn't realize until I found it impossible to mount the struts. After flipping these brackets everything went together smoothly.

Reached out before ordering and was told the parts were in stock, after ordering I reached back out for a delivery date and was told it was a couple of weeks out due to supplier.
