26-1042

Speed Engineering Low-Profile LS Swap Oil Pan

The latest from Speed Engineering! A super low-profile oil pan designed to fit all LS based engines. This cast aluminum oil pan provides the best possible clearance for most LS swap applications. The low profile dictates a maximum 3.62” crankshaft stroke, and please note that the windage tray must be modified (see note below). Total oil capacity is still 6 quarts, making this unit a great addition for your swap application.

The 26-1042 would be a good choice for a GM G-Body, Chevy S10, C10s with the engine sitting low in the chassis, or trucks with an aftermarket crossmember that requires more oil pan clearance.

Add the Holley Performance LS3-style dipstick to complete the package!

**NOTE** GM "F-body" windage tray (GM P/N 12558253) is required, and modification to the windage tray is required to provide clearance to the pick-up tube. A full-length windage tray may be used if the front quarter of the tray is removed.

    Fits perfect!

This low profile oil pan was exactly what my ‘72 C10 needed. It has a 5.3L motor and the original truck pan hung too low and hit speed bumps or steep curbs. Truck is lowered 6.5” front and rear, which is not ideal for stock oil pan. I purchased the pick up tube and dipstick on here and also found a GM F-Body windage tray on Amazon. No more clearance issues!
